Born into a family with deep roots in ministry and music, where you either play, sing, preach, or teach. Tina currently serves as the Minister of Music for Amazing Grace Worship Center in Alabaster, AL. where she has lead Praise and Worship for the past seventeen years. She is also a teacher of the Everyday Life Class at Amazing Grace for the past five years where she helps her class discover God‘s grace for living a Christian life on a daily basis. Tina is also a speaker for Women’s Conferences in the area as well as conducting workshops at her local church.

Tina is a singer, musician , and songwriter with two projects : God Is Walking  - a traditional Southern Gospel CD with four of her original songs; God Is Walking, Out of This World, The Anniversary Song, and The Greatest Gift of All. The Second CD ;  Tina Wakefield Take2 features some traditional Southern Gospel along with a Contemporary blend. This CD also features three original songs by Tina - I Know The Man, Set Your House In Order, and I’ve Changed My Mind Devil.

 

Tina is married to Houston Wakefield. They have two children and three grandchildren. The entire family is very active in Ministry at Amazing Grace Worship Center, with Houston and son Kenny, serving as band members. Rachel is our youngest daughter who is now 24.
